Artie Vierkant - a Rhizome 2011 Commission awardee - produced a series of works entitled Image Objects.

The works exist separately as images and as objects. Although they hang on a wall in a physical space, anytime they are officially documented (by the artist or the commercial gallery) they must be edited/augmented/altered.
